Dr. Zaeem Bin Babar is working as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Energy & Environmental Engineering (IEEE), University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan.
His B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering is from University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore. He completed his M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from American University of Sharjah (AUS), UAE. He has also worked in LOTTE Chemical Pakistan limited for one and half years.
He earned his PhD and Post Doctorate in Environmental and Energy Engineering from Kyungpook National University (KNU) located in Daegu, South Korea. During his Post Doctorate, he worked in Principle Investigation team on an Internationally Collaborated Project titled, “Investigation of micro-dust formation in South East Asia” with renowned research groups of China, South Korea and Japan.
His area of research is broadly related to Air Pollution (Atmospheric Aerosols, Particulate matter i.e., PM2.5, and SMOG) and specifically related to formation mechanisms and composition of Particulate matter and Secondary Organic Aerosol (SOA). Additionally, his research interest includes solid waste to energy conversion.
