Free Corona Virus Test Facility at SIUT

KARACHI: The Corona virus test facility is available at Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT).

According to spokesperson SIUT, the facility is being provided free of charge for 24 hours while the hospital also has isolation ward and screening facilities.

The spokesman said that the kits at Corona virus test facility were provided to the SIUT by the Sindh government on Wednesday.

The Correspondent said that 8 suspected corona virus were tested at Corona virus test facility of SIUT, which had symptoms of the virus, but their test results are yet to be released.

The spokesman added that 2 of the suspects came from Australia and Singapore while the remaining 6 patients did not travel.

According to the spokesman of the Sindh government, 15 more of the visitors from Taftan have been confirmed with the virus.

The spokesman said that the total number of corona virus cases across Sindh has reached 267 out of which three patients were recovered while 264 were undergoing treatment.

A person was killed in Karachi on Sunday, the third death in Pakistan.
